Marketing

One of our staff will visit your property and provide our opinion as to the price at which we should commence marketing and we will provide details of our terms of business and our fees.

Once we have drawn up our draft details we will invite your comments and suggestions and we will add photos and floor layouts. In the meanwhile the chosen Hip provider will be carrying out the Energy Performance assessment and collating the required documentation for the pack.

As soon as we have notice that the basic Hip components are available we will place the property on the internet sites of Right Move, Find a Property, Primelocation, Vebra/Think Property and on our own site at douglas-estates.co.uk and advise suitable buyers on our regeister of the properties availability.

Where requested viewings by potential buyers can be accompanied. All appointments are mutually agreed and each viewing is carefully followed up. The all important feed back is communicated to the seller as promptly as possible.

When an offer is received we check all the background components. Just as thoroughly as if we were selling our own homes, before we report to our clients. It's not just the price that's important it's the buyer's ability to proceed. Even long chains of transactions are not a problem as we put considerable time into checking and chasing all the elements involved.

We endeavour to provide as much information as possible enabling our clients to make informed decisions as the sale progresses to exchange of contracts.

Probate

We are specialists in this field acting for Solicitors involved in Probate work, family executors and Banking institutions.

We provide a written assessment of the properties condition, not any form of survey and our opinion of an achievable price.

A nominal fee is charged for this service, but is deducted from the sales fee if the property is subsequently sold by ourselves.
